We’re looking for an experienced manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the consulting, audit, or possibly operational fields.

You’ll participate in selling and implementing supervisory project missions, improving the performance of business lines for major groups or mid-market companies in the industry sector or private or public services.

Required skills

You have developed and demonstrated your skills in the context of organisational missions, process evolutions, information system redesigns, project management or change management in the Supply Chain and Operations fields in national or international settings.

You have directed missions of performance or organisational improvement in the following fields:

  • Distribution & Transport International

You possess recognised and appreciated skills with regard to the relevant business and information system problems.

Qualities we seek in our candidates

Strong consulting skills:

  • Source of proposals/persuasion while always retaining a sense of diplomacy: capacity to create a team dynamic (ability to animate workshops, collect/challenge needs…), capacity to give feedback
  • Good interpersonal relationships, even during periods of great pressure; curiosity; open-mindedness: capacity to adapt/integrate rapidly into client contexts, capacity to interact as easily with the C-Suite as with operational teams or third-party providers – and to adapt behaviour according to the environment;
  • Attentiveness, objectivity, ability to analyse and synthesise: capacity to formalise and clearly document problems;
  • Rigour and professionalism: vigilant with regard both to the operational aspects of the mission (production of deliverables) as to its management (reporting);
  • Practicality, ability to break down the recommendations of the operational plan (concrete, pragmatic approach);
  • Intellectual loyalty and honesty in all circumstances.

Excellent knowledge of information systems:

  • Experience in integration of ERP, APS, WMS…
  • Full understanding of the functional architecture of information systems;
  • Appetite for SI problems (ability to interact with the tools when necessary).

This position is based in Paris. Some travel will be required.


 

Profile:

You are a graduate of a Business or Engineering school or university.

You have at least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain consulting or associated business lines.

You have excellent knowledge of information systems.

Mission

You’ll join our teams and support and guide our clients in their optimisation & transformation projects.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation and participation in collaborative workshops.
  • Drafting of identification of needs / technical specifications
  • Preparation of scheduling, tools, etc.
  • Collection and analysis of data.
  • Development of synthesis reports.

Who are we?

A rapidly growing Supply Chain consulting society is seeking an intern (M/F)

Working with our commercial office in Paris, your principal mission will be to assist the commercial team in the development of our client relations activity.

Your mission:

  • Participate in transport market studies (maritime, air, rail, water, road).
  • Contribute to logistic audits performed for our clients and optimisation research;
  • Accompany our industrial clients in their international logistics and ensure the satisfaction of their worldwide clients.
  • You’ll touch on all the stages of the business (from prospection to follow-up of dossiers with the operational teams)

Profile and skills:

We’re looking for motivated French or foreign candidates wishing to fully invest themselves in their mission and t to creating value.

Business, commercial or logistics training (4/5 years higher education)

  • Critical and analytical thinker.
  • Intellectually curious
  • Very autonomous – Common sense
  • Good mastery of software tools

Excellent English is required and a knowledge of other languages is a plus.

What this internship will offer you:

  • The discovery of issues linked with international transports and specifically those of Supply Chain for large industrial groups.
  • The development of business line skills (Methods, project management tools, services)
  • A transversal vision of the enterprise thanks to close collaboration with other internal and external group services.

Duration: 6 months

Full time internship or professional training contract possible.
Start of internship: as soon as possible

Compensation

  • Your compensation will be composed of the standard internship indemnity as well as a bonus based upon the results of your work, enabling you to rapidly double the former.
  • We cover 50% of your transport expenses as well as 50% of your restaurant tickets.

This internship could lead to a full-time job within our team!
